Ok, just when I think things are getting simpler, like narrowing choices of countries down to three, plop another something falls onto the plate of my life. Now I am not a person who eats one thing at a time. In fact, I am a two bites of this and one of that kinda eater. So I should be better equipped to chew a few things at a time, right? Well no, not so right. But anyway...to the news. On Sunday the Northwest Arkansas Adoption Coalition had a table set up at our church. My wonderful husband had time to stop by and pick an information sheet, and his words were "lets take the week to pray about this" and of course along with my prayer time comes a fact finding mission. So I was off to find the facts the wonderful facts about fostering to adopt.

I think the best way to described what I learned about the state foster/adoption system is to quote Bambi's friend Thumper he said it best when he said "I gotta tell ya, it ain't purtty". Now those of you who know us know that fear is not a reason we would not do something. So we are taking the week to pray.... will it be international or will the Lord turn our hearts to domestic adoption? Pray with us, please.
