Well we were some of the luckier ones. We were without electricity and water for only 4 days. Not unbearable, in fact this storm created some wonderful memories for us. Roasting marshmallows in our fireplace, Camping out in the living room, and riding the tractor around to assess the damage are moments that will be written in the memory book of our minds, blogs and photo albums:) It was good stuff mostly. I couldn't reach Rose and was a little worried, but all is well that ends well. A few neighbors were frosty, without electric some they did not have heat! Glad that was not us. Glad, too I was that I have a man in my life to do the "heavy" stuff. My mom had more difficult time..caring for a disabled man is taxing. I also witnessed generosity and kindness from person to person, neighbor to neighbor. People helped People! Heroes everyone!!
So now we are playing catch up...laundry couldn't be done, nor dishes (well I broke down and boiled some icicles into dish water) business, banking, and bookkeeping are a few days past getting done and some serious wood cutting remains. But no worries, life went on and continues going..ewe blah Dee, ewe blah dah
